Company 2 got its start in fall of 2012, where Sanket Gandhi, the founder, was able to design and demonstrate the process of producing a high quality polymer of glucose at commercial scale in a legacy chemical factory asset. The net result was the introduction of more affordable biopolymer for industrial mining, and oilfield applications, and creation of new market for the biopolymer. The process of producing biopolymers was perfected over years, and capacity is expanded many folds to provide the customers with high quality biopolymers at commercial volumes, and affordable prices.
